Fidda and the blade

Fidda,
Pronounced with the “n”, not the “M”,
Walked with his regular swagger
Into a roomful of hypochondriacs,
Whom he normally irritated
By wishing them good health.
But today he felt generous
For he richly sneezed
And declared confidently,
"It is contagious".
